Reflect Services
Reflect offers information, support, signposting and one-to-one counselling for children and young people who are bereaved. Support and counselling is also available to children who have a family member with a life-threatening or life-changing diagnosis.
Reflect supports children and young people aged 3-17 and their families, living in Western Cheshire. We work with young people and children to identify and develop their resilience and resources to support them in difficult times. Children are given the opportunity to explore their story using a range of creative media. Through this, children are able to identify who cares for them and who they can have fun and laugh with.
Children can be seen at their school during term time, or in the welcoming family room at the Hospice of the Good Shepherd.
If you are interested in the Reflect services, please contact the Reflect team or call 01244 851104.
Remembering Days
We offer the opportunity for families and children and young people to come together at our remembering day events. For example, in May 2014 we held a Storytelling Day, where families came, listened to stories and shared their stories with one another, remembering their special person. Regular days are held throughout the year, and offer an invaluable opportunity for bereaved children, young people and families to spend time with people who have lost someone special too.
