Upton Christmas wreath festival is an all round success

A festival of Christmas wreaths brightened Upton-by-Chester last weekend.

More than 40 local groups display their Yuletide creations at Upton United Reformed Church.

Schools, businesses, organisations, clubs, churches and church groups made and decorated wreaths to represent their activities and had fun showing their ingenuity.

Event organiser Deborah Ormerod was delighted to see how community groups had embraced the idea with their imaginative creations.

Proceeds of £316 were raised for the Hospice of the Good Shepherd.
