Three generations taking part in Santa Dash

Countess of Chester Hospital Foundation trust Governor Helen Clifton has signed up three generations of her family for this year’s Chester Santa Dash.  Ten members of the family including her children and grandchildren will be taking part in the event which is supported by Virgin Money on Sunday 6th December at 10am.

The 3.3k route starts at Castle Drive and ends in Bridge Street, in the city centre.  The event is being jointly organised by 2 local charities the Hospice of the Good Shepherd REFLECT Child Bereavement Service and the Babygrow Appeal.

Helen said “I’ve been a publicly elected Chester and rural Cheshire governor for 8 years.  We’re all very excited about ‘dashing’ (especially the children!) and enjoying ourselves in support of such important causes.  (We’re also excited about the lunch at Pizza Express that I’ve booked for our ‘recovery’ afterwards !)

As well as those featured in the photo, Helen herself and her daughter in law Hayley will also be taking part.
