Vote for your Hospice to be Sainsbury’s Local Charity of the Year!

We are delighted to have been shortlisted by not one but two of our local Sainsbury’s stores to be their Local Charity of the Year partner for 2017 /18!

Voting is now open to help Sainsbury’s across the country find their new local Charities of the Year and we have been nominated in the Chester Caldy Valley and Hoole Faulkener Road branches.

If we receive the most votes out of the charities nominated, we will be supported from the stores through fundraising and volunteering over the next 12 months.

We are therefore urging all our wonderful supporters and their families and friends, in the locality, to register their support for the Hospice by casting their vote.

Lynne Hamilton, our Community and Events Fundraising Manager, said: “Becoming Sainsbury’s Local Charity of the Year in either the Caldy Valley  or Hoole Faulkener Road branch would be a huge boost for us – but we hope that, with your active support, we can become the chosen charity at both branches!”

To vote simply fill out a nomination form in your local store, and post it in the store’s nomination box, or vote online here.

Anyone can vote for us by clicking here:

  • Type the store you want to vote for us at (‘Chester Caldy Valley’ or ‘Hoole Faulkener Road’) into the search bar
  • Select your chosen store
  • Click ‘Vote’ under the store name and then click ‘Submit’.

The charity with the most votes by the closing date of 25 June 2017 will become the store’s Local Charity of the Year.

We value your support!
