Freemasons aid funding of future development at Hospice of the Good Shepherd

On Wednesday 27th January Steve Hoy, Chief Executive Officer of the Hospice of the Good Shepherd welcomed a group of Cheshire Freemasons to Gordon Lane , Backford, CH2 4DG

Assistant Provincial Grand Master Worshipful Brother George Mann was accompanied by Colin Ross the Provincial Charity Steward and Derek Brook the Provincial Communications Officer they brought with them a donation of £10,000 from the Cheshire Freemason’s Charity to assist the Hospice in its ongoing developments. The money comes from donations that individual Masons have made towards Non-Masonic Charities and Worthy Causes.

Steve Hoy, thanked the Freemasons and commented ” we value the continued support that Freemasonry has given this and other Hospices without which the service we offer to the Community would be much harder to achieve.”
