Don’t wait to donate your unwanted goods
Don’t wait to donate as our charity shops are desperately in need of good quality donations and items will be sold on to be loved again and support your local Hospice.
Following the success of our recent donation station in Chester, on Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd December our retail team will be hosting another ‘pop up’ weekend collection point at Elton Community Centre from 10am to 3pm. Alternatively donations can be dropped off during opening hours at any of the Hospice charity shops https://www.hospiceofthegoodshepherd.com/…/our-retai…l-shops/
Jason Gregory, Hospice of the Good Shepherd, Head of Retail says: “We are totally reliant on donations from members of the public and are always on the lookout for good quality items – particularly bric-a-brac, clothing, homeware and furniture to keep our shops fully stocked. The local community has been very generous and we are very thankful for their support. However we are incredibly short of donations at the moment”
“We are looking to receive donations that are clean, useable and of saleable quality. And remember each time you donate stock to the Hospice, please Gift Aid it which gives us an extra 25p for every pound we make selling your items. Anything we cannot sell gets recycled through our recycling partnerships, so nothing goes to waste.’
