Will Week returns with the support of local solicitors who have agreed to waive their usual fees in return for a donation to the Hospice.
Over 50% of people have yet to actually make a Will and some believe that they simply cannot afford to make one. Are you unsure where to start? Do you think it could be too early or late to write a Will? Are you worried that your loved ones won’t be protected?
Will Week is a great way of giving yourself peace of mind by setting your affairs in order and ensuring that your wishes are kept whilst supporting your local Hospice. By making a Will you can choose where your assets go and who controls this process. If you don’t make a Will, certain relatives inherit your assets according to a strict order set out in the intestacy rules and charities cannot benefit under those rules.
The participating solicitors involved are thrilled with the opportunity to support the Hospice of the Good Shepherd during their Will Week to help raise money for the vital care and support they provide.
Will Week starts on Monday 13th March 2023 and lasts until Friday 17th March 2023.
