Have you ever dreamed of owning your very own race horse? Well your dreams are about to come true!
The Hospice of the Good Shepherd will be making racing history, by holding the first ever Hospice Pantomime Horse Race at Chester Racecourse on Saturday 16th September. We are looking for 25 “horses” to take to the start line and race for the victory in front of 20,000 spectators.
This will be a complete sell out, so secure your place today!
This will be a full race experience, including the horse owners proudly parading their horses around the parade ring, and the winning horses will be presented with a trophy after the race with the proud owners.
For those who take a sponsorship package or VIP horse package, the day will start with a VIP breakfast and arrival drinks at the Abode Hotel Chester, where you can talk with other horse owners over a glass of Prosecco.
For all packages, the Hospice will provide your horse outfit and two standard entry tickets.

Chester racecourse was founded in 1539, and this is your chance to be part of history, with the 1st ever pantomime horse race!
What does it cost to own a horse!?
We have three race packages for you! Our packages range from £1000 to £200, so regardless of the size of your business or team, there is a place at the starting line for you! We have a range of exciting sponsorship packages for the full experience of the races, but also a big chance to showcase your business in front of 20,000 people at the racecourse, and across social media platforms and much more.
All packages are flexible, and extra guests can be added to all packages at an additional cost.
Each horse will be asked to raise a suggested target of £250 for the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, but we will be there every step of the way to support you.
