If you’re keeping an unloved homburg in the hall, a surplus sombrero in the sunroom or an unused bonnet in the broom cupboard, we want to hear from you!
The Hospice of the Good Shepherd is launching its first ever ‘Hats off for the Hospice’ event and appealing for supporters from throughout West Chester, Ellesmere Port and Deeside to donate any unwanted hats – new or used – to their local Hospice shop in time for the great hat sale in April. The sale of all donated hats will start at 9.30am on Monday, 3 April at 130 Northgate Street, Chester, 9 Faulkner Street, Hoole and 10 High Street, Neston.
Smaller selections will be available from other hospice outlets at 400 Sutton Way, Great Sutton; Centurion Point, Victoria Road, Chester; and 5 Rivington Road, Ellesmere Port. “We’re hoping for fantastic display of hats of all shapes and sizes on launch day,” said Caroline Siddall, the hospice’s Director of Income generation. “There will be the usual amazing bargains to be had.”
