Volunteers have been supporting the hospice since we opened our doors almost 30 years ago. During that time the number of volunteers supporting the hospice has steadily grown and we now have over 400 people contributing their time in so many different ways.

The value of our volunteers goes way beyond a financial saving as they bring with them a wealth of experience from all types of backgrounds and careers and they are integral to all areas of the charity.

Fundraising Volunteer

We are looking for volunteers to help at street and supermarket collections. We have collections taking place throughout the year in town centres, shopping centres and garden centres. This is a great role for someone new to volunteering and also for those who can only spare a few hours.

Also we are looking for volunteers to help at our fundraising events throughout the year. Volunteers are required to help with registration duties on the day, assist participants and help with the smooth running of events. This is a great opportunity for people who cannot commit to regular volunteering days and times.
