Bake a difference
Help us always be there to care by hosting a ‘Bake a Difference’ event to support Hospice Care Week, 9 -15th October
Venue: At Work, Home, School or in the Community – you decide!
When: Ideally we would like you to host the event during Hospice Care Week, 9 – 15th October but if this is not convenient please host an event at a time to suit you.
Get together with your friends, family, neighbours and colleagues! Put your baking skills to the test to raise funds and help support people affected by a life limiting illness.
From a catch up with friends over a cuppa to office cakes with colleagues; choose a vintage tea party or traditional afternoon tea – your ‘Bake a Difference’ event can be as big or small as you’d like it to be!
Whatever you do, however you get involved, you’ll be raising vital funds for your local community Hospice.
At the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, we provide specialist, end-of-life care to our patients and their loved ones. Our dedicated team of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, complementary therapists and caring support staff provide round the clock care to our patients and ongoing support for their families.
It costs over £4 million a year to provide our services for free; yet we receive less than 25 percent of our funds from the NHS.
