Your Legacy is our Future

We receive around 15% of our annual income from gifts in people’s Wills.  This means that we can help more people like Fiona receive high quality end of life care. Fiona was an Inpatient at the Hospice for a number of weeks.

Dave Harrington Wright, Fiona’s husband said:

“We had no idea we would ever need the support of our local Hospice but at the worst time of your life it’s the best place in the world to be. Please consider making a gift in your Will to the Hospice to allow them to continue caring.”

Out live your life – Remember the Hospice of the Good Shepherd

The Hospice of the Good Shepherd has been supporting local people for over 30 years.  Our dream is to be here for local people in our community for the next 30 years.

One way of making this dream come true is by leaving a gift in your Will to the Hospice.

We deliver specialist end of life care to local people living with a life limiting condition whether as an in-patient or in our Living Well Centre.  We support families and carers at a very challenging time in their life.  We also offer bereavement support to both adults and children, whether or not their loss is connected to the Hospice.

Every single gift from a Will no matter how big or small, is very much appreciated and makes a real difference.

In order for our services to continue we really need your help.

We understand that making your Will is one of the most important things you will ever do.  It puts you in control and allows you to make decisions about your assets and to make the future more secure for those closest to you.  However, once you have done this, you may wish to consider leaving a gift in your Will to the Hospice.

Our Pledge to you

Your Will is completely personal to you.  We appreciate that your Will is made in confidence and we will always respect your privacy.

We respect your right to change your mind about a gift in your Will to the Hospice.

We promise you that whatever gift you leave us will be used to care for our patients and their families in the best way possible.
