Sunrise Stroll (Now in its 4th Year!)
7 miles! Can you walk it?
Over 500 walkers turned out for the first time in 2008 to take part in our Sunrise Stroll, and we were quite literally 'Walking on Sunshine' the entire walk.
We have got some really great photos from the event, it was great to see everyone having such a good time. Event organiser Jemma Hamilton added “It was uplifting to see so many smiling faces when people crossed the finish line, We are so grateful to everyone who took part and hope to see everyone again for the 2010 Sunrise Stroll”
This year £45,000 was pledged which is a fantastic amount, and we are so grateful to all those who took part in the walk and also to those who sponsored family and friends such generous amounts.
I hope that the coaches laid on from Chester Zoo were helpful to some of you walking the 7 mile walk, and that you enjoyed the slightly different route this year. Next year there are also likely to be some more improvements to the event...watch this space!
