Event Guidelines
DECLARATION: Hospice of the Good Shepherd Fundraising agreement
I agree to:
Use my best endeavours to raise money for the Hospice of the Good Shepherd.
Not do anything to bring the reputation of the Hospice of the Good Shepherd into disrepute.
Before producing, printing and distributing materials bearing the Hospice of the Good Shepherd’s name or logo, obtain prior approval from the Hospice.
Include on all materials Hospice of the Good Shepherd Registered Charity No:515516
Pay all proceeds from my organised event solely to the Hospice of the Good Shepherd within six months of my fundraising event
Obtain approval from the Hospice of the Good Shepherd before approaching any celebrities to support my event
Ensure that my event, including hire of equipment or any third parties employed for the event, are fully covered by insurance
Adhere to the Hospice of the Good Shepherd’s procedure, including signing the relevant forms, for the use of collection boxes/buckets if I require them.
Not to carry out house-to-house collections.
Not carry out collections in public places without appropriate local authority approval in the form of a collectors licence; and will obtain permission of the owner if collecting on private property.
Acquire and pay for a liquor licence if I intend to sell alcohol at my event on unlicensed premises.
Follow the Hospice raffle guidelines if holding a raffle at my event. (Please note that if selling raffle tickets prior to an event, a licence will be required, but not if tickets are sold at the event).
Return to the Hospice of the Good Shepherd any issued fundraising materials that I have used so that they can be given to other fundraisers.
Not resell or auction any Hospice of the Good Shepherd materials without prior consent from the Hospice.
Acknowledge that the Hospice of the Good Shepherd cannot take responsibility for any losses made through my event.
Require all sponsors to complete the necessary sponsorship form provided by the Hospice.
Note that all sponsorship money is a donation and not refundable even if I fail to take part or withdraw from an event.
I understand that the Hospice of the Good Shepherd may terminate our relationship if I am in breach of any of the above terms. I have read, understood and agree to the above terms.
