Collection Boxes

SMALL CHANGE CAN MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE

The Hospice of the Good Shepherd has a number of collection boxes placed in shops, newsagents, hairdressers, pubs etc. and our Community Fundraisers empty them on a regular basis, usually about 3 times a year.
The money is counted and banked, the box relabelled and placed back in the venue for the next time.

Collection boxes raise around £10,000 each year year.  Many more places to display a box are needed throughout the local area so, if you know of any business that may have a collection box for the Hospice please click here to complete a Collection Box Request Form or call Lauren or Phil on 01244 851811.

For individual supporters we have Home Money Boxes which you can fill with your loose change at home.  Once it gets full, count up the money and send us a cheque for the amount or take the coins to the Hospice or one of our five charity shops, in the sealed bag provided.  Please click here for a Home Money Box Request Form and we will send your box to you by post or call Helen on 01244 851811.

The Fundraising Department sends a thank you letter to every box holder and informs them of the amount raised from their collection box.  If you do not wish to receive a regular thank you letter please complete section 5 on the request form.
